ladder, step one

the carpet does not reach the ladder. i won't go on the floor.

this is the plan. we will jump from the edge of the carpet to the bottom step of the ladder. it isn't too far.

and then what?

and then we'll be on the ladder.

on the bottom step. how do we get to the top, genius?

we're sure that part of the plan will be obvious to us once we reach the bottom step.
