we've been attempting to learn to slide. we aren't sure how to keep ourselves moving once we're out there. we got stuck yesterday.

i hate the slippery!!

we don't like getting stuck on slippery floors.

tweaking to accomodate our weakness

the success of yesterday has prompted a new idea: we can slide out of our prison! on our bellies. we will slide everywhere we want to go!

it was my idea!! hooray for chicken!!!

we will practice this. we will master this. we can't fall down if we never stand up.

chicken is awesome!

poor pig

pig cannot write today. he tried all paws. he took one paw off the carpet. then he slid himself onto the slippery. then he lifted himself up and smiled. and then he slipped and scurried to the carpet and he's been sulking in the cage all day.

i feel sad for him!! so i slid myself onto the slippery. it was scary, but it wasn't so bad. i didn't try to stand - i just lay there. and i did it!! and then i slid back to the carpet.

baby steps

we put one paw on the slippery floor, and the rest of the paws on the carpet. we can get used to this.

i did it, too! it wasn't so bad. but i still hate the slippery!!

tomorrow, all paws.

whatever. crazy pig. crig. haha!

not amused.

first time is hardest

step 1: we stand on the slippery floor.

i won't i won't i won't i won't i won't i won't

we will be able to do anything once we do this.

no no no no no no no no no no

we have a long way to go.

chicken will not

pig always publishes before i get a chance to respond. i will NOT WALK ON THE SLIPPERY!! i hate the slippery. pig will have to work out his craziness alone this time!

the crumbling of our bondage

may's wall fell down today. the wall that keeps us shielded from the outside world. the wall that keeps us safe and secure in our own little space. secluding but protecting. the symbol of our sheltered lives--

now you are the dramatic one. it's not even a wall, it's a curtain! ha!

the symbol of our sheltered lives, and now the symbol of our hope to overcome the fears which keep us living behind these curtains.

what are you talking about?!?!?!?!

we are going to learn to walk on the slippery floors.
